As you may know, the MN Green Roofs Council has been working with others on a project called RoofBloom.  RoofBloom is developing a set of resources for homeowners interested in installing a green roof on a garage, shed, or other small structure.  More information at www.mngreenroofs.org including our "Green Your Garage" guide.

We are terribly excited to announce the long-anticipated completion of three key resources which are now available: 

Earth Wizards, Inc. will host a happy hour discussion of green roofs at Bedlam Theatre on Tuesday, April 1.  Corrie Zoll, Earth Wizards' new Communications Director, will lead a discussion of different green roof systems, how these systems provide different benefits, and how to determine the best green roof system for your project.  Before joining Earth Wizards, Corrie helped to found the Minnesota Green Roofs Council, and developed a green roofs program at The Green Institute.

Doors will open at 6:00. A presentation will begin at 7:00.

Bachman's green roof expert Doug Danielsen will talk about green roofs, an eco-friendly building technique which is becoming more popular in
Minnesota.   There are many kinds of green roofs, one to suit every situation with proper construction.   Learn the environmental and finacial
benefits of green roofs.   Doug will also talk about the new LiveRoof modular green roof system.   Space is limited to first 85 people, first come basis.

Green Roofs for Healthy Cities has rescheduled it Green Roofs 101 workshop for April 15.

GRHC has also announced that they will offer discounts for AIA members, ASLA members, and groups of five or more.
