Green Roof Trailer Blog

The trailer has a coat of paint (it needs another) and we took it on the road a few times over the last couple of weeks. Here it is at the Linden Hills Park "Good Energy Fair". People love to come up to the trailer and touch it. I even had one person who started pulling weeds until she ran into the prickly pears.

I was worried about the trailer bouncing as it moved down the road. This did not seem to be a problem. Above about 25 MPH, though, the plants start to look like they don't appreciate the wind. And so it's a bit of a slow drive around town. Frankly, I am surprised that it doesn't attract more attention on the road - people hardly seem to notice.
