Living Green Expo This Weekend
Posted April 28th, 2009 by CorriePlease join the MN Green Roofs Council this weekend at the Living Green Expo.
On Saturday at 2pm, Chris and Corrie will make a presentation on backyard green roofs for garages, sheds, dog houses and chicken coops.
We'll have a booth open all weekend in Tent B, with our green roof demonstration trailer as well as information about all sorts of green roofs in Minnesota.

Who We Are
The Minnesota Green Roofs Council promotes green rooftop technology as a sustainable building strategy in Minnesota. We work to educate developers, architects, landscape architects, engineers, roofers, building owners, policy makers and others about green rooftops as a cost-effective strategy to improve building performance, reduce environmental impacts and improve urban livability. Our steering committee meets monthly and hosts workshops, social events, tours of local green rooftops. We develop resources like our RoofBloom guide and our Minnesota Green Roofs Directory. Please join us for a happy hour discussion on Tuesday, March 24. Everyone is welcome, but we plan to focus on smaller green roof projects. Whether you are a do-it-yourselfer, a contractor, supplier, or someone who wants to be
educated enough to pick the right green roof and the right installer.
